Mr. Graves moved to Frankfort in 1948. He retired from Ingram Richardson after 28 years. He was a member of Woodside Christian Church and the Star Class of Woodside Christian Church.
He was born June 8, 1923, in West Moreland, Tenn., to Bill and Lena Mae Dowell Graves. He married Naoma L. Graves on Sept. 15, 1945, and she died on July 22, 1999.
Survivors include Larry Joe (Debbie) and Rodger Dale (Margo) of Frankfort and Jerry Lee (Kimberly) of Lafayette; seven grandchildren, one step-grandchild and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Gene.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Genda Funeral Home, 608 N. Main St., Frankfort, with Pastor Richard Hawthorne officiating. Calling will be 4-7 p.m. Wednesday in Genda Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Woodside Christian Church.

Olta C. `Hoot` Graves, 84, 954 W. Barner St., Frankfort, IN, died at 1 p.m. Dec. 23, 2007, in his home.
