Mr. Stringer was employed by National homes and as in maintenance at Ivy Tech, and was a member of Lebanon Wesleyn Church.
He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Linda Stringer and Becky (husband Greg) Poe and one granddaughter, Heidi Poe.
Arrangements are being handled by GENDA FUNERAL HOME, 608 NORTH MAIN STREET, Frankfort, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 26, 2007. Funeral service will be at GENDA FUNERAL HOME at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 26, 2007, Pastor Morris Jones and Pastor Howard Barefoot officiating. Interment will be at Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort, Ind.

Samuel L. Stringer, age 73, of Frankfort, Ind., died Saturday, December 22, 2007, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind.
He was born June 10, 1954 in West Baden, Ind. He acheived his GED and attended Pilgrim Holiness College.
