FUNERAL HOME
Mrs. Tower was a homemaker. She graduated from Central High School (Evansville, IN) in 1940. She lived in Frankfort most of her life, and was a former member of St. Matthew Methodist Church.
She was born Dec. 31, 1920, in Decatur, AL, to Robert L. and Agnes Mayse Steadman. She married Lloyd M. Tower on Sept. 25, 1948, and he died Feb. 4, 1994.
Surviving are a son, James E. of Frankfort; a sister, Barbara Jane Berger of Kent, OH; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Clayton) Hughes of Flora, IN, and Pamela Towers of Frankfort; and one great-grandchild, Linc Mitchell Hughes.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Amanda Reid Memorial Chapel, Wesley Manor, with Pastor Dan Driggs and Chaplain Ron Mann officiating. Calling will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Genda Funeral Home, 608 N. Main St., Frankfort, and one hour prior to service in the chapel. Entombment will be in Green Lawn Mausoleum.
Memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Fund at Wesley Manor, 1555 N. Main St., Frankfort, IN 46041.

Mary 'Katie' Tower, 86, formerly of 656 Elmwood Drive, Frankfort, IN, died at 4:40 a.m. Dec. 8, 2007, in Wesley Manor Retirement Community, Frankfort.
