FUNERAL HOME
He was born November 21, 1914 in Frankfort to David and Mary (Ferguson) Surface. He graduated from Frankfort High School in 1932. In 1942, he married Zella Lucille Dorrough and she died June 19, 2002. He lived his entire life in Frankfort.
Surface worked for 30 years as a manager for the Frankfort Grain Elevator and in weights and measure for the State of Indiana for five years. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
He is survived by two nephews, Lloyd (wife Kay) Surface, Fort Wayne, IN and Robert, (wife Carol) Surface, Mulberry, IN.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Marion 'Bud', Bernie and Ed.
Arrangements are being handled by GENDA FUNERAL HOME, 608 NORTH MAIN STREET, Frankfort, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, December 1, 2007. Funeral service will be at GENDA FUNERAL HOME at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 1, 2007, Pastor Chuck Williams officiating. Interment will be at Green Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum in Frankfort, IN.

Roy Leon Surface, age 93, of Frankfort, IN, died Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at Clinton House Convalescent Center in Frankfort.
