Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Walter 'Bud' Jennings of Frankfort; a son, Richard Carey Coin II of Riverside, Calif.; a sister, Carol Cullen of Lafayette; and one grandson, Cody Coin of California.
His father preceded him in death.

Richard Carey Coin, 56, Frankfort, IN, died at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 17, 2007, at his home.
Mr. Coin was a 1969 Frankfort High school graduate and an Air Force veteran. He enjoyed animals, especially his dogs Precious and Honey, and he enjoyed fishing.
