FUNERAL HOME
She was born Nov. 28, 1911, in Clinton County, to Manson and Goldie (Howe) Schimmel, and graduated from Michigantown High School in 1930.

On Dec. 27, 1931, she married Donald D. Massey and he survives.

Mrs. Massey worked in the clerical administrative building at Purdue University from 1955 to 1977, and was a member of Order of the Eastern Star Post 7.

Surviving with her husband are one son, Donnivan L. Massey (wife: Candance) of Atlanta, Ga., one sister, Dorothy Cambridge of Wesley Manor, Frankfort, one grandson, Donnivan Massey, Jr, Richmond, VA, and one former daughter-in-law, Ann R. Massey, Williamsburg.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Max Schimmel and one sister, Roxie Patchett.

Arrangements are being handled by GENDA FUNERAL HOME, 608 NORTH MAIN STREET, Frankfort, IN, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday, August 2, 2007. Funeral service will be at GENDA FUNERAL HOME at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 2, 2007, Pastor Richard Burdett officiating. There will also be a time of visitation at the Amanda Reid Memorial Chapel at Wesley Manor, 1555 N. Main St., Frankfort, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 1, 2007. Interment will be at Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort, Ind.
Mildred A. Massey, 95, formerly of 1552 E. Wabash St., Frankfort, died at 3:10 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at Wesley Manor Retirement Community, Frankfort.
