Samantha Grace Giese, 92 days, of Lafayette, died March 26, 2009 at 7:30 PM in Clarian North Hospital, Carmel, IN.
Born on Christmas Eve 2008, Samantha was a miracle from her precious start. In her brief life Sam touched all who came to meet, know, hear of, and pray for her. Sam taught us all what true courage is and about the endless miracles of God. Sam touched many lives and will be missed by countess people.
Sam is survived by her parents Grant & Cara (Lindemann) Giese of Lafayette, a sister Jillian Claire Giese at home, paternal grandparents, the late Jo Giese and Scott & Sally Giese of Lafayette, maternal grandparents, John & Sandy Lindemann of Little Rock, AR. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and the family of physicians and nurses who cared for her at Riley North Children’s Hospital.
Funeral Services for Samantha will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Lafayette, on Wednesday April 1, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Ed Morrow will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Private family burial will take place in Meadow View Cemetery.
The family has requested no flowers, memorials may be made to the Riley Children’s Foundation at, rileykids.web-pros.com.
