William Fredrick Baker
William Fredrick Baker, 76, of 4919 Oak Brook Ct. Indianapolis, IN died on Saturday, May 9, 2009. He was born on May 18, 1932 in Indianapolis, IN to parents Mahlon and Mary Catherine (Hosmer) Baker.

He served in the Korean War in the US Army as a Lt in Okinawa and attended 2 years of medical school. He owned and operated Baker Pharmaceuticals Co. from 1967-80 and retired as a stockbroker with Dean Witter after many years. Bill was a membe of St. Luke U.M.C. Indianapolis and was a 50 year Mason in Kirklin Masonic Lodge #443. He enjoyed playing cards with friends but his true passion was square dancing.

He married Vera Doll on January 20, 2005, and she survives.

Survivors include his Wife, Vera of Indianapolis, 2 sons John W. (Wife Mary Kay) Baker of Michigantown, IN and David W. (Wife Melissa) Baker of Kouts, IN, 1 step-son Jay McCartin and 2 step-daughters Joni Dennis and Jeri Day. 4 Grandchildren Kristen, Bradley, Matthew and Mallory and 6 step-grandchildren. 1 Aunt Roseland Griffin of Noblesville, IN.

He was preceded in death by 1 son, Mark Alan Baker and 1 sister, Betty Ann Michel.
