Wanda L. Zurfas
Wanda L. Zurfas, 85, of 1555 N. Main Street, Frankfort, IN died at Wesley Manor on Friday, May 29, 2009. She was born on January 28, 1924 in Cherry Grove, Montgomery County to parents Floyd and Sarah (Sheets) Roberts.
Wanda was a lifelong resident of Frankfort and was a homemaker. Her hands were never idle as she enjoyed quilting, gardening and crafts. She was a member of the Woodside Christian Church and active with the Gold Ladies.
She married Robert “Bob” Zurfas on June 15, 1946 and he survives.
Survivors include Son Terry (Jenny) Zurfas of Panama City, FL and Daughter Rebecca (Bruce) Welty of Frankfort; Two Brothers - Morris (Shirley) Roberts of Greentown and Lemoine (MaryLou) Roberts of Crossville, TN and Grandchildren Adam (Wife Kara) and Ken Welty, Lisa (Husband Greg) Kist and Alex Zurfas; 4 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, 1 Brother - Dallas Roberts, 1 Sister - Rosie Allen.
