She was born on January 19, 1950 in Two Harbors, MN to parents Ralph and Theresa Francis (Jewell) Gruver, Sr.
Julie moved to Frankfort in 1986 previously living in Arden Hills, MN. She was the owner of B&B Shipping for 7-1/2 years and served in the US Army and US Army Reserves for 20 years serving in the Vietnam War. She was a member of the Moose Lodge of Frankfort, Farm Bureau, AARP, ROA Reserve Officer Association.
She married Gary W. Hall on March 6, 1986, and he survives.
Survivors include Mother of Rush City, MN, 1 Son, Cyril “Pete” Schmaltz of Frankfort, 3 Grandchildren - Blaine, Bill and Thomas Schmaltz, 2 Brothers - Ralph (Wife Lonna) Gruver, Jr of Algonquin, Il and Lester (Wife Lennea) Gruver of Lindstrom, MN, 2 Sisters - Irene (Husband Leonard) Hall of Montpelier, ID and Annette (Husband Edwin) Campbell of Brookpark, MN as well as 3 Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Father.
